These terms apply when you use niptao.co.in or ask Niptao to help settle your traffic e-challans. Niptao is a brand of Boxsmith Packaging Private Limited ("Niptao", "we", "us"), a company registered in India, with its office at F-15, First Floor, Krishna Apra Royal Plaza, near ICICI Bank, Alpha-I Commercial Belt, Block E, Alpha I, Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh 201310. By sharing your details with us or paying us, you agree to these terms.

1. We are a private service

Niptao is a private facilitation service. We are not a government website and are not part of, or affiliated with, any traffic police, transport department, court or Lok Adalat. You are always free to approach the Lok Adalat, the traffic police or the court yourself, without us.

2. What we do

Check the pending traffic e-challans on the vehicle numbers you give us, free of charge.
Tell you which challans we can take up at the next Lok Adalat, which we cannot (with the reason) and the price.
After your written approval and payment, prepare the paperwork, register or book the Lok Adalat token where needed, and attend the Lok Adalat on your behalf using an authorisation letter you sign.
Share the result and the receipt with you on WhatsApp.

We currently serve Delhi, Noida and Greater Noida, Ghaziabad and Gurugram. Challans from other places, challans not yet sent to court, and offences the Lok Adalat does not take up (for example drunk driving or accident cases) may be outside our service. We tell you this before you pay.

3. Price and written approval

The price is a percentage of the challan amount (usually a flat 50%, lower with some offers), worked out only on the challans you choose to settle. We show the exact amount before you pay.
We send you the list of challans and the amount on WhatsApp. You confirm by replying I APPROVE. That reply is your written approval of the list and the amount.
You pay only after that approval, using the payment details we send (UPI or bank transfer to Boxsmith Packaging Private Limited). Never pay anyone who contacts you from another number or asks for an OTP, PIN or password; we never ask for these.
If the challans or the amount change after your approval, we ask for your approval again.

4. Results at the Lok Adalat

The Lok Adalat, not Niptao, decides each case. We cannot promise that a challan will be taken up or the amount it will be settled for, and Lok Adalat dates, courts and slots are set by the authorities and can change. A Lok Adalat settlement is final and binding.

5. Refunds

100% refund promise: if a challan you paid us for is not cleared at the Lok Adalat, we refund the full amount you paid for that challan after the Lok Adalat date.
If you cancel before we have registered your challans or booked a token for them, we refund the full amount for those challans.
After registration or token booking, a cancellation is not refundable, but the refund promise above still applies.
Refunds go back to the account you paid from, normally within 7 working days of the refund being due.

6. What we need from you

Correct details: vehicle number, name and mobile number. You must be the owner of the vehicle or have the owner's permission.
Clear copies of the documents we ask for (such as RC, driving licence and Aadhaar or PAN) and a signed authorisation letter, in time for the Lok Adalat.
If documents are missing, wrong or late, we may not be able to settle the challan on that date. In that case we carry it to the next Lok Adalat or refund it as set out above.

7. Messages and calls

By sharing your mobile number you agree that we may contact you by WhatsApp, phone call or SMS about your request. You can ask us to stop at any time.

8. Your information

How we collect, use and protect your details is explained in our privacy policy.

9. Our responsibility

We do our work with reasonable care. Our total responsibility to you for any request is limited to the amount you paid us for that request. We are not responsible for decisions of the Lok Adalat, courts or traffic police, for changes to their dates or rules, for outages of government websites, or for losses caused by wrong information or documents you gave us.

10. Use of the website

Do not misuse the website, for example by submitting false details, other people's vehicles without permission, or automated requests. The website content and the Niptao name and logo belong to Boxsmith Packaging Private Limited.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version on this page applies to new requests from the date shown at the top. A request you have already paid for stays under the terms that applied when you approved it.

12. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute is subject to the courts at Gautam Buddha Nagar, Uttar Pradesh. Please talk to us first; most problems can be sorted out quickly.
