Niptao ("we", "us") helps vehicle owners settle pending traffic e-challans through Lok Adalat. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how you can contact us. Niptao is a private facilitation service and is not part of the traffic police, the courts or any government body.
What we collect
- Your name, mobile number and vehicle number(s), when you fill in the form on our website or message us on WhatsApp.
- Details of the challans on your vehicle that we look up on your behalf, such as challan number, date, offence, amount and status.
- Messages you exchange with us on WhatsApp, including your approval of the challans you ask us to settle.
- Documents you choose to share with us for the settlement, such as RC, ID proof and authorisation.
- Basic technical data, such as your IP address, to protect the website from misuse.
How we use it
- To check your pending challans, tell you which can be settled, and quote the amount you pay.
- To contact you by phone or WhatsApp about your request, including the approval message and updates.
- To book and attend the Lok Adalat settlement on your behalf, with the documents you authorise.
- To keep a record of what you approved and paid.
We do not sell your details. We do not send marketing messages unless you ask for them, and you can stop messages at any time by replying STOP or writing to us.
Who we share it with
- Courts, Lok Adalat and traffic authorities, only as needed to settle the challans you approved.
- Service providers who help us run the service, such as website hosting, database and WhatsApp messaging (Meta). They may only use your details to provide that service to us.
- Anyone we are required to share it with by law.
How long we keep it
We keep your request and messages for as long as needed to complete the settlement and keep proper records, and then delete or anonymise them. You can ask us to delete your details earlier, unless we must keep them by law.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete your details, or withdraw your consent, by writing to help@niptao.co.in or messaging us on WhatsApp at +91 99906 61629.
